History of the System
Welcome to the Imperial Republic Honours and Awards System (IRHAS).
The Imperial Republic relies on the dedication, bravery, and unwavering loyalty of its citizens and military personnel. To recognize those who go above and beyond in their service, this system was established to codify the honours bestowed upon the finest members of the Imperial Republic.

Award Recommendations
All Imperial Republics, regardless of rank or position have the ability to recommend another Imperial Republic for an award. Award recommendations should be made to the person's direct Commanding Officer. In the case of secondary branch awards, the recommendation should be made to the supervisor within that branch.
If in doubt as to who to contact, or whether a recommendation should be made, personnel should consult with the Imperial Republic Security Bureau.
Award recommendations need to include sufficient evidence demonstrating that the award's criteria have been met or exceeded.
Multiple Awards
Awards can be awarded numerous times, and in some cases there are different colour combinations on the award ribbon to demonstrate this. In cases where an award is shown to have different ribbons for either different classes or numbers of the award, then the award is limited to those classes or numbers and may not be exceeded.
For awards that do not have different ribbons for numbers; these may be used in conjuncture with a clasp for the medal, or a disc for the ribbon as shown below.
Mounting Guidelines
Mounting Ribbons
Ribbons are worn in rows of four, with precedence going from top left to bottom right. Ribbon rows are begun from the bottom however, and if a row of less than four is needed, then the row is to be centred as demonstrated below.

Mounting Medals
When medals are worn, all medals are worn in a single row, side by side with the highest level medal to the left slightly overlapping the medal to its right. When there are seven or more medals, then the medal overlap is increased to exactly halfway. Examples of both can be seen below.
